‘Where’s the path‘ helps you do that. By displaying a UK Ordnance Survey (OS) map side by side with a google map you can scroll and zoom both in synchrony to find a location. footpath and cycle routes. There are many options for displaying different types of OS and google maps even looking at OS maps from the 1930’s. If like me you enjoy walking and taking photographs but don’t always have the right OS map or you want to quickly check a location this can be a very useful pre visit location scouting tool. Enabling the checking of public access to a particular view point for photography or drone flight etc. There are many other useful online tools for photographers and drone pilots to scout and pre visualise a location before an actual site visit, I have listed these in another post Tips and Settings for getting great Photographs from the DJI Mavic Pro 2 Drone

or ….. Use Bing Maps and toggle the Ordance Survey button to your delight.
Unfortunately I don’t think with Bing Maps you can view and pin point the same location on both a google map and ordnance survey map at the same time. No toggle needed. You can also overlay maps with transparency. In addition there is a tool to draw a route to calculate distance.
Stonkingly brilliant. What a superb idea to come up with, never mind actually implementing it. I love it.
